April 17-23: National Volunteer Week

Thank you to our volunteers who selflessly give their time to help others.

April 17-23 is National Volunteer Week! Thank you to our volunteers who selflessly give their time to help others.  Our volunteers were sidelined by the pandemic for more than a year. They were able to return to the hospital setting in the summer of 2021 and since then, more than 1,200 volunteers have given 42,336.57 hours of service — equivalent to 4.8 years! Between cleaning high-touch surfaces and providing art and music at patients’ bedsides to cuddling babies and so much more, our volunteers support patients, visitors and staff throughout hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Please visit UFHealth.org/volunteering for information about how to become a volunteer.
