UF HEALTH SENDS MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO UKRAINE
UF Health Supply Chain Services facilitated the donations which totaled around $17,000 in supplies
It is with great respect that UF Health Supply Chain Services has prepared six pallets worth of medical supplies and medicines to ship to Ukraine. Thank you to our compassionate teams for making this possible.
Tedd Comerford, associate vice president of Supply Chain Services and Materials Management, said the project was initiated when Svetlana Chembrovich, M.D., assistant professor of Anesthesiology, requested that open-but-unused supplies be gathered and shipped to the war-torn country.
“We transitioned that ask into a true, new supply donation,” Comerford said. The monetary value of the medical supplies donated equals around $17,000, he said.
