Site work begins on new freestanding E.R.

UF Health leaders grabbed shovels and broke ground for UF Health’s new full-service, 911-receiving freestanding E.R. in southwest Gainesville. The UF Health Shands Emergency Center at Kanapaha will provide area residents with access to fast, high-quality emergency care. Construction is expected to finish in fall 2016.
