TIMOTHY A. MILLER TAKES ON ROLE AS ADMINISTRATOR FOR UF HEALTH PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL, FLORIDA RECOVERY CENTER
Miller is an experienced mental health facility leader

Timothy A. Miller, an experienced mental health facility leader, has joined UF Health as administrator for the UF Health Psychiatric Hospital and UF Health Florida Recovery Center.
Miller’s most recent role was as chief executive officer for Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a 108-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. He began with the facility in November 2019 as its interim chief executive officer.
He was with Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital from June 2017 until November 2019, starting as its director of risk management and performance improvement and later becoming chief operating officer. Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a 105-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital based in Conway, South Carolina.
He worked in numerous states for various companies, including Recovery Innovations, HomeCare Management Corporation and ResCare Home Care.
Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clarion University in 1987 and a master’s in strategic leadership from Mountain State University in 2010.
