RECOGNIZING OUR “SUPER” NURSING STAFF
Congratulations to this year’s Nightingale Award winners
Our Nurses Month theme — “Nurses are SUPER” — shines a light on our nursing staff’s superpowers: compassion, resilience, knowledge and unwavering dedication. These health care heroes are committed to quality care, ethical practice and exceptional clinical results. The compassionate attention they provide is at the heart of our patients’ experience.
Each year, we celebrate their contributions during the annual Nightingale Award Ceremony, named after Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Though the ceremony was held virtually this year, unit and individual accomplishments were still highlighted and celebrated across UF Health Shands.
Congratulations to all of the award recipients, and thank you to all of our nursing staff for shaping lives at UF Health.
