Felicia Shenbanjo, M.ed, UF Health Shands Admissions training associate and Bryan Biegler, M.ed, UF Health Shands Admissions training manager, presented at Epic’s Experts Group Meeting, or XGM, in Verona, Wisconsin in April.  The international conference invites people to share ideas and learn new ways of integrating the Epic system into their existing hospital programs. XGM is divided into different sessions based on your specific role within your organization, such as hospital administration, billing or IT.

Shenbanjo and Biegler presented as a part of the Training Advisory Council.  Their presentation, “Empowering Your End Users: Creating a Fun and Interactive Training Program,” shared information about the training program they developed over the past three years for their Admissions/Hospital Registration staff.  About 250 people attended their presentation, and they received overwhelmingly positive feedback from nearly everyone in attendance.
