In April, the Celebrity Gridiron Challenge kicked off its first year benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
Guests of all ages participated in outdoor activities, such as face painting, cornhole, crafting posters and visiting the assorted food trucks. Albert and Alberta joined the festivities to take pictures with participants at the event.
The flag football tournament consisted of teams of 10-12 players, displaying a wide range of age groups and co-ed teams. Players selected their league based on skill level – non-competitive games lasted 30 minutes while competitive games were 45 minutes.
