In September, UF Health Shands Diversity Ambassadors held an event full of dancing, music and celebration of culture in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. This fun-filled event in the UF Health Shands Hospital Atrium included a Zumba demonstration led by Madel Sotomayor, UF Health Congenital Heart Center administrative director, and performances from a Venezuelan music and dance group and a Colombian dance troupe.
